What are Tarot birth cards?
Tarot birth cards represent archetypal energies that accompany your life journey. Your date of birth reveals a pair of cards reflecting the core qualities that shape your energy over time.
There are only 12 Tarot birth-card combinations shared among us. People with very different personalities may therefore have the same pair. These cards do not describe your entire psychology; they offer a starting point for understanding your identity more deeply.
Imagine the 12 combinations as 12 great rivers, each creating a distinct environment for the lives that flow within it.
How are Tarot birth cards calculated?
Pho Go Tarot adds month + day + the first two digits of the year + the last two digits of the year, then reduces the total to a number from 1 to 21 and matches it to the corresponding Major Arcana combination.
Split the date
For example, 23/08/1990 becomes 8, 23, 19 and 90.
Add and reduce
8 + 23 + 19 + 90 = 140. Then: 1 + 4 + 0 = 5.
Find the pair
The number 5 connects with 14, creating the Temperance / The Hierophant pair (14/5).
